So what do you eat on the ViSalus plan? How does it even work?
Basically, you can adapt it to be as hardcore as you'd like. The basic concept is to replace at least one meal per day with a ViSalus shake.

What is a ViSalus shake? Is it nasty?
Oh quite the opposite. I HATE diet shakes. With a passion. Not only that but I'm not really a fan of (full fat) milkshakes in general. But I love the ViSalus shakes I've tried so far. There are a multitude of recipes or you can make the shake your own. Just throw 2 scoops of ViSalus creamy dream powder in and fill in the rest with your craving that day. They are also very filling. I think that is because of the secret use of Almond Milk to make them versus regular milk. It blends up thick and fluffy which equates to filling for the tummy!

My personal plan?
I'm replacing 2 meals a day with 2 shakes along with 2-3 snacks and 1 meal. I'm not defining everything but just trying to be smart. Keep snacks to around 100 calories and keep meals within reason (and push the healthy meats and veggies!). The 2/2 plan may or may not hold true for each and every day depending on the life circumstances. I'll blog about my daily diet and excercise to give you an idea of how it can work.

Can this be done long term?
That is yet to be seen for me. It seems like it could or I wouldn't be devoting all of this time, energy and money to it. The taste of the shakes are tasty and very filling and the rest of the plan is loosely defined enough that you can fit it around your lifestyle. We shall see...
